Who we are

Foma Family (fomafamily.com) is an online store for personalized and engraved gifts. It is run by FomaPrint, a business in Alpharetta, Georgia, USA. In these terms "we" and "us" means FomaPrint, and "you" means the person using the site or placing an order.

Your account

You can browse and fill your cart without an account. To check out you need a free account with an email address you can read.

Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for orders placed from your account, so tell us right away if you think someone else has used it. You can turn on two-step sign-in under Account › Security.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time from Account settings › Privacy.

Orders, prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. The total shown at checkout (items, shipping, any discount and any sales tax) is the amount you pay.

Payments are processed by Square on a secure Square payment page. We never see or store your full card number.

Your order is confirmed once the payment goes through and the order appears in Account › Orders. If we cannot make an item after all, we tell you and refund that item in full.

Personalization and your approval

For names, text and ready-made designs, the preview you see when you customize the item is your approval: we make exactly what it shows. Please check spelling, dates, letters and layout before you add the item to your cart.

If you upload your own logo or photo, we send you a proof first. Nothing goes into production until you approve it.

Natural materials such as wood and leather vary a little from piece to piece, and colors on a screen can look slightly different in person. These small differences are not a defect.

Logos, photos and text you send us

When you upload a logo, photo or text, you confirm that you have the right to use it and that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark or privacy.

You allow us to use it only to make your order, show you previews and proofs, and keep a record of what was made. We do not use it for anything else.

We may refuse or cancel an order whose content is unlawful, hateful or infringes someone else's rights. If we do, we refund it in full.

Shipping

Items are made to order: production takes 1–3 business days, then the item ships. Times, costs and tracking are explained in our Shipping policy.

Returns, refunds and cancellations

Personalized items are made just for you, so we remake or refund them only if they arrive damaged, defective or wrong (for example, the engraving does not match the preview or proof you approved, or the item is not as described).

Ready-made (non-personalized) items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, unused and in their original condition.

You can cancel within 24 hours of ordering, or any time before you approve your proof, whichever is later. Once production starts, a personalized item cannot be cancelled.

Using the site

Please do not misuse the site: no attempts to break into accounts or systems, overload or scrape the site, or place fraudulent orders. We may suspend accounts that do.

Product photos, designs, text and the site itself belong to FomaPrint or the people who licensed them to us. Please do not copy them for commercial use without permission.

Our responsibility

We make and ship every order with care. If something goes wrong with an order, we put it right by remaking or replacing the item or by refunding what you paid for it, as described in these terms.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses (for example, a missed event), and our total responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA. If something goes wrong, please email us first. Most problems are solved quickly that way.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. The version in force when you placed an order applies to that order.
